I’m sure you’re at least somewhat familiar with the idea of Noah’s Ark– Noah needed to save all of the animals from a flood, so he brought them, in pairs, onto his ark, so that they could survive some massive flood.
Well, you should really think of your garage door springs in a similar way when it comes to how you handle them– Everything should be done in pairs. Each spring has it’s own friend that it was likely installed with, and will likely break down with. So if one spring breaks down, it’s almost a guarantee that the other will follow suit shortly.
So whenever you take care of a spring repair or replacement, it’s important that you always do things in pairs!
